We are a contract design engineering company working on many varied and innovative products as I trust you will find from browsing our web site. These range from the design of electro-mechanical machinery to high volume moulded product. We use both 2D and 3D CAD Draughting in providing solutions to your design needs and creating formal drawings for the Intellectual Property rights. Experience of the engineering performance of many materials and the manufacturing options available for the finished product has given POSS Limited the edge in creative design. Pneumatics/Hydraulics - Gas/fluid management, full system & rig design. Hardware - Electro/mechanical components, motors, filtration systems, pumps, compressors, vacuum systems, valves, heaters. Materials - Mild and Stainless steels, Aluminium, Ceramics, magnetically soft and hard materials, separation membranes, common and exotic polymers, elastomers, dry bearings. Processes - Plastics Moulding; (polymer selection, tool design, moulding methods) Sheet Metal; (CNC punch, press and fabrication techniques) Casting ; (Cast Iron, Aluminium, Gunmetal) Whilst working from the client’s site is often preferred initially for design projects, POSS Limited can also fast prototype your new product from our own workshop.
